The Warrior Group Unveiled
Episode 3 finished on a major cliffhanger and introduced the first table of adventurers who will separate from the central cast to embark on their independent quest, apart from the other two tables.
The Soldiers table consists of Teor (brought to life by Travis), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), the cleric (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).
Dividing the Cast
Given a large ensemble, it was clear from the outset that keeping everyone at a single group would be unworkable.
This explains, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Introduction, intertwining the characters’ stories before splitting into three smaller tables: Warriors, Planners, and Explorers.
The Nature of the Warrior Group
Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for players who enjoy a typically action-packed battle-oriented gameplay experience where non-violent answers are few and far between.
At first glance, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might look mismatched, but the actions of the latest installment show why these five characters are perfectly fit for the Soldiers table.
Motivations for Departure
First, the party has a clear idea where to head next after a brutal first encounter with The Crow Keepers.
Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose death started the narrative’s action—manipulated the foes for his selfish purposes, breaking into Thjazi’s hideout, attacking the rogue, and stealing all the magical artifacts to sell off.
The traitor then cleared his liabilities and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, above the city, with Cyd pursuing him.
Individual Reasons
Additionally, each character has a specific drive to depart the urban setting:
- The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, desires vengeance.
- The knowledgeable figure has experience in the northern area and warns that it is a dangerous place.
- The warrior and The healer, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to eliminate Teor and instead saved him, have no other options.
- Yet, their position as key figures in the influential clan could assist the group access locations they normally couldn’t.
- Additionally, The fighter vowed a life debt to The savior for his deliverance and will now accompany him everywhere.
Pursued by Authorities
Finally, all of them are sought by the rulers that rule Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making staying in the city no longer safe:
- The agile adventurer and The character are notorious outlaws.
- Tyranny and The cleric betrayed House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are allied with.
- The fighter is marked for death by the family.
This leaves them few options but to journey toward Timmony in quest for the traitor.
