The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making huge financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
